The Ugliest Villains Ever Made
Our order of the Chitauri Footsolder and Commander 1/6th scale collectible figures from Hot Toys arrived earlier today and we just couldn’t wait to get these bad boys out of their boxes and into our toy cabinets! These two figures are actually the last two in the whole The Avengers set that we’ve been collecting since last year. They join our earlier purchases: Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Iron Man, Nick Coulson, Captain America, Thor, Loki, Bruce Banner, and The Hulk!
To be honest, we were very hesitant to buy these figs because who in the right mind would pay around Php20,000 for collectible figures of generic enemy soldiers? Lol. We ended up ordering though since we really wanted to collect the entire set of The Avengers for our collection. Turned out to be an awesome decision because the figures are actually very detailed, articulate, and they compliment Loki very well.

Left: Footsoldier, Right: Commander. Notice the differences: color, armor, and helmet. In terms of size they’re relatively the same.
Here’s the Footsoldier without his helmet. UGLY. Can give the Predator a run for his money as ugliest alien ever.

Different angle with the gun. Definitely looks so kick ass.
Full body shot without helmet. Main difference? Shoulder guard, face, and violet accents.
Commander up front. Foot soldier at the back. The set comes with several weapons for both figures.
With Loki! Note the two stands. They’re mini dioramas! Woohooo.
We’ll try to do a full photo shoot of all of our figures from The Avengers soon. For now we’re just happy to sit back, relax, and look at the complete set here at the Unbox HQ.
