Lenovo launches latest Legion and Lenovo LOQ devices in the Philippines

Lenovo revealed the PH pricing and specs of its new AI-assisted gaming laptops.

Lenovo recently unveiled their latest line of Legion and Lenovo LOQ devices in the Philippines, and they feature the latest hardware along with new cooling solutions.

For starters, Lenovo partnered with Intel for the Legion Coldfront Hyper thermal solution which is exclusive to the Legion 7i and Legion 5i. This system optimizes heat management by channeling the airflow from the chips to a central hyperbaric chamber. What’s more, the system also promises cooler running temperatures as the bottom D-cover isolates the expelled hot air from the cold air drawn by its dual fans.

Meanwhile, the Lenovo LOQ is Lenovo’s entry-level gaming line, but the laptops in this lineup also feature special cooling tech. Specifically, they have Lenovo’s hyperchamber thermal technology that allows the laptops to draw up an additional 25W of power while maintaining skin temperatures up to 2°C cooler. All of this while reducing fan noise by 2dB compared to the previous generation devices.

As for the laptops themselves, the new Legion lineup includes the Legion 9i, Legion 7i, Legion 5i, Legion Pro 7i, and Legion Pro 5i. All of these laptops feature the latest 14th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA RTX graphics. The laptops also come with a 16-inch PureSight display, complete with up to 64GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage.

The 9i, 7i, and Pro 7i laptops also come with per-key RGB backlit keyboards, with the Legion 5i and 5i Pro having a 4-zone RGB backlit TrueStrike keyboard.

As for pricing, these premium laptops start at PHP 144,995 in the Philippines.

For gamers who want a more affordable package, Lenovo also introduced its Lenovo LOQ Gen 9 laptops in the Philippines. Specifically, the LOQ 15IRX9 and the LOQ 15IAX9 are part of the launch lineup, and they’re both powered by up to 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processors and up to GeForce RTX 4050 GPUs.

These laptops also have a 15.6-inch display, up to 32GB of memory, and up to 2TB of Gen4 PCIe storage, with pricing starting at just PHP 51,995.
