Days before the release of Destiny, the much-awaited new shooter from Bungie, the studio wanted to hype things up further with this Live-Action trailer that can pass as a deleted reel from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Check it out for yourselves:
Now, while I don’t know much about shooter games, I do know classic rock – and that usage of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song is just perfect! While the general tone and vibe of the game is a far cry from the jovial sarcastic banter found in the video, it does seem to replicate the amount of fun one can expect in Destiny.
With signature movelists that scream of epic action, Destiny is shaping up to be more than your average CoD-type shooter. And with environments as rich and as lush as what we’ve seen, it looks like Destiny is shaping up to be an amazing game especially for the next-gen console. Destiny will be available starting September 9 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 but clearly, with graphics and environments such as this, there’s a reason why we included the game in the list of the top 5 games you’d want to play with a next-gen console (so yes, it comes out for the PS4 and Xbox One as well). :p
