Telltale Games prepares to unleash “Game of Thrones” this fall season

Winter is coming... And fans of HBO's medieval fantasy epic TV Series "Game of Thrones" will finally be able to experience what its like to live and participate in Westeros, as Telltale Games prepares to release their first episode in their video game adaptation of the series by unleashing the first trailer and details for the game!

Announced during last year during Spike’s annual Video Game Awards event and now prepping itself up for release just before the year ends, episodic adventured video game developer Telltale Games prepares to unleash their newest acquired property to gamers across the planet, and it’s none other than George R.R. Martin and HBO’s highly acclaimed Medieval Fantasy and Adventure series based on the popular “A Song of Ice and Fire” book series, Game of Thrones!

 

Set between the end of Season 3 and just before Season 5, the “Game of Thrones” video game will see players controlling a new group of characters that comprise “House Forrester” –  a faction that is loyal to the legendary Stark Family and holds base at the northern location of Ironwood in a fortress called Ironrath. The player will control five characters, some members of the Forrester family and those who serve it, and will follow their paths and choices through the course of the story.

Like other popular Telltale Games’ titles such as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, Game Of Thrones will be told through a series of episodes that will be released periodically and a couple of months apart from each other. The game will be comprised of six episodes, and the outcomes will differ based on the players actions and decisions as they play through each and every chapter of the story. Players will interact with characters and key figures set in the world of Westeros and Essos, and those who watch the HBO TV Series will be pleased to know that the actors and cast who appear on the show will be lending their voices for the game. Lena Heady and Peter Dinklage will reprise their roles as Cersei and Tyrion Lannister, while Natalie Dormer and Iwan Rheon will return as Margaery Tyrell and Ramsay Snow.
