Prepping fans up for a special teaser screening in selected IMAX theaters and the inevitable release of the trailer online afterwards, Zack Snyder has released a 20-second video that teases the arrival of the first trailer of his DC Cinematic Universe sequel, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"!

Taking to his official Twitter page to tease fans for the unveiling in a few days, director Zack Snyder has released a 20 second teaser video that promotes the first official trailer for his DC Cinematic Universe sequel “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice“.

The video (as seen in Snyder’s Twitter and Comic Book.com) doesn’t offer any new footage of the film… Save for glimpses of Superman’s Kryptonian “Super” suit and the first look at Batman’s Batsuit, which will be worn by Ben Affleck.

 

A special teaser screening will premiere in selected IMAX Theaters on April 20. While this is only available to US residents, fans and viewers shouldn’t fret, as the trailer itself will be released online afterwards.

Set after the events of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice once again stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/ Superman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Ben Affleck joins the cast as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, with Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. The film will see the first confrontation and meeting of The Man of Steel and The Dark Knight in the DC Cinematic Universe, and will plant the seeds for the rest of the DC Films that will follow afterwards… Including the Justice League.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released on March 25, 2016.
