One of Japan’s best-selling anime and manga series is coming back to television sets in the land of the rising sun this July, as the long-running Dragon Ball franchise will be getting a brand new ongoing TV Series after 18 years, in the form of “Dragon Ball Super“!
Taking place after the events of Dragon Ball Z and the defeat of Majin Buu, the new show based on the work of Akira Toriyama will be directed by Kimitoshi Chioka. Returning of course will be the main protagonist Son Goku, as well as his sons Son Gohan and Son Goten. His allies in the Z Fighters will be there as well, including Vegeta, Piccolo, and Kuririn.
