Building up to what will certainly be an interesting shift in how Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are portrayed if things went differently in their lives, Warner Bros., Machinima, Blue Ribbon Content, and DC Entertainment are preparing fans for a tastes of the next DC Universe Animated Original Movie called “Justice League: Gods and Monsters” by releasing a new companion series that will build up to the new film, and it’s called “Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles”.
In the trailer released by Machinima to promote the first season of the new series, legendary DC Animated Universe producer and animator Bruce Timm introduces fans to a new world where Superman was Zod’s son, Batman is a vampire, and Wonder Woman is the child of Ares. How will this very different interpretation of the World’s Greatest Heroes interact with society? We’ll find out when Gods and Monsters Chronicles airs on June 8.
