Sequels Abound
The reboot of two successful game franchises, XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Tomb Raider, won numerous awards when they were released a couple of years back. We are so glad to hear that an E3 Teaser Trailer and Reveal trailers for the sequels were put up on YouTube while we were sound asleep.
The Lara We Know and Love
The simple, yet powerful, trailer of Rise of the Tomb Raider features our heroine talking about greatness and risking one’s life in pursuit of hidden knowledge while she perilously climbs the face of an icy mountain. So far, we know that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be discussed at E3 during Microsoft’s panel. This might have PlayStation owners up in arms, but remember that they did the same thing in their previous release, so fingers crossed that it won’t be an Xbox One exclusive. Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced in June 2014.

Aliens and Samurai Swords
XCOM is back and we couldn’t be happier. This Turn-Based Tactical Strategy Game started winning hearts and minds way back in 1993 and the recent reboot by 2K Games and Firaxis brought the popular franchise to the new generation. The next iteration of the game looks absolutely badass! It’s hard not to fanboy when watching the trailer and even write about it without going into nerdgasmic convulsions. I mean come on, X-COM agents with Samurai Swords! ‘Nuff said.
XCOM 2 is set for a release in November for those who are a part of the Master Race aka PC users.
