August 7, less than 2 days after the Long Night Zombie Party for Dead of Winter: The Long Night, Gaming Library and Z-Man Games successfully launched CTHULHU RISING – the Pre-Release Event of the newest game of the Pandemic Board Game Series, Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu. Here’s what went down.

Dyce N Dyne was transformed to the Silver Twilight Lodge and we were greeted by an ominous sight…

We make our way inside and are greeted by some dark sights…
We were welcomed by the Master Cultist
and showed us the new Pandemic that will devour mankind

Cthulhu-themed Meals were served to settle us in
But MOST IMPORTANTLY, we finally got to see the game UP CLOSE!
Through the night, we were taught how to play Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu. It was easy-to-learn but difficult-to-win. The game also became available for Purchase FOR THAT DAY ONLY to those who attended the event!
We did challenges throughout the night, answered Trivia about Cthulhu, and even tried to make Elder Signs!
At the end of it all, we were able to win (prizes) and save the day!

It was another great success of an event! We definitely had fun and we loved the new game! More so, we were so hyped that these special pre-release events were happening HERE in the Philippines. We cant help but hope that there will be more to come! 🙂
