Last night’s episode (December 7) of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” featured the new upcoming stuff from Nintendo. The show featured Jimmy playing the upcoming “Super Mario Run” iOS game, plus “The Legend of Zelda” on the Nintendo Switch.
Among his guests was the legendary video game designer Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto (The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros and more!).
Later in the show, Miyamoto took centerstage with his guitar and played a chill rendition of the ‘Super Mario Bros.’ theme song along with the show’s in-house band ‘The Roots’. What happens next is around a minute of purely awesome geekery magic! Check out the video below!

Staying true to the theme, Jimmy Fallon walked-in on cue with the “Question Mark Coin Box”.
What an eventful night for the fans of Nintendo. I can’t wait for ‘Super Mario Run’ to be released on December 15! Even more so for the launch of the Nintendo Switch on March 2017!
