With a show of force, Sony Philippines showcases their flagship products across multiple categories — mobile, home entertainment, digital imaging, personal audio, and gaming at the first ever “Sony Fair” held at the Bonifacio High Street from December 9 to 18, 2016!
This 10-day event features interactive displays, community activities, and workshop that enable customers to enjoy and envision the way Sony devices fuel their lifestyle. Here’s the event map to guide you around the Sony Fair.
Ungeek was able to go around the fairgrounds and there was SO MUCH AWESOME all around! To sum it up though, here are our there are 3 main points of interest you simply MUST go to!
PlayStation Area
Because OF COURSE. As a geek and gaming blog, you know we’d totally make a bee-line to the Sony PlayStation Area. It’s a no-brainer!
The area allows people to try and enjoy lauded games on the PS4 like NBA2K17, Just Dance, and the recently released Final Fantasy XV!
You can also immerse yourself in interactive fun via the PlayStation VR demo!
Bravia Area
Explore and enjoy imagery like never-before in the Sony Bravia Area. Mounds of 4k Monitors are available to sample as well as Sony’s Android TV. A TV fitted with an AndroidOS so you can enjoy your favorite apps in the comfort of a really giant screen. Yup, we even tried playing a game on the TV. It’s crazy beautiful. 😉
Bring your family and friends to Sony Bravia’s Movie Nights on December 10, 11, 17 and 18 for free viewing of choice Sony Pictures Films.
Sony Extra Bass and Hi-Res Audio
Cap off the experience with Sony’s area that shows their commitment to hi-quality sound! Here, they have a demo setup of Sony’s portable and outdoor speakers and, if you want something a little bit more intimate, you can check the various Sony Headsets and Walkman units on display.
Never miss the chance to sample the MDR-1000x. That thing has INSANE sound quality! It’s a wireless noise-cancelling bluetooth headset that’s equipped with Sony’s proprietary Sense Engine.
No buttons, all gestures. Sony’s Sense Engine uses intuitive motion sensing to control the music’s volume, track number, replay and even a nifty sound muting setting which enables you to hear your surrounding without having to remove your headset — all with a touch of a hand.
There are, of course, more things to discover in Sony’s enormous flagship product display. If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, you might want to check Sony Fair’s XPERIA area to see the latest phones fitted with Sony’s advanced technologies. The XPERIA XZ’s imaging is crazy stable – it feels like your phone’s on a really expensive gimbal! “Capture in Motion, Without Blur”.
The Sony Alpha Cameras are also on display as well and there will be various photo seminars sprinkled throughout the event days. Check these schedules out:
