Warner Bros. Pictures has launched the new official art for one of its biggest movies of 2017, and DC’s counterpart to The Avengers and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, check out the call to #UniteTheLeague as the Justice League look to save the world against a threat unlike any other!
In the film, fueled by his restored faith in humanity, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat but despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash — it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Catch Justice League in cinemas starting November 16, 2017 as distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures!
We’re about a week away from the next big hit from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the unassuming heroes Star Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot continue on their (mis)adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid in this blockbuster offering Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!
We take a closer look at Drax, who we all know is played by former WWE superstar Batista / Dave Bautista. Batista opens up about his character, saying that “he’s also got that side to him that’s just all heart. He’s still heartbroken over the loss of his family. And I love that dynamic, man. I love playing with that. It’s challenging. It makes it’s interesting. It makes the character loveable and it makes people connect to him.”
In the movie, Drax develops a friendship with a new character, Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff. Describing their relationship, Batista says, “It’s hard to think that Drax would have some innocence to him but he really does, and it comes out in this film. That’s in the connection he has with Mantis. There’s a lot of innocence in both characters. They’re almost like two kids who find each other and become playmates. They just connect on a certain level that they can’t connect with anybody else. They’re both suffering from some pain and learning new things and new feelings, new experiences. They’re going through that together and that’s where the connection is.”
Catch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and don’t miss out on what is arguably the biggest hit of the summer, opening in cinemas starting April 26, 2017, from Marvel and Walt Disnet Studios Motion Pictures!
