Fans of the Monster Hunter franchise have been literally begging the developers to release a game across the other platforms since availability was limited to choice devices, mostly handhelds, as the gameplay did cater to more “portable” habits such as meeting up with friends and making an attempt to slay some legendary beasts along the way.
Recently, a collective sigh of relief as Monster Hunter World was announced and more importantly, console based players can finally join in on the action as Monster Hunter World will be gracing the Sony PlayStation 4 and during the first ever PlayStation experience event at Kuala Lumpur, we were treated to a surprise as joining us to showcase MH World is Ryozo Tsujimoto, the producer for MH World!
Tsujimoto-san was eager to discuss the gameplay trailer of MH World to the media and to the fans in line for the event. Thanks to the power of the PS4, MH world will experience a whole new ecosystem which will affect the way players interact and play the game. You can interact with the environment in more ways than one and these will actually help you in beating the monsters you’ll be facing, thus allowing you more ways of slaying these beasts. Speaking of monsters, there will be new and unique monsters but no details have been revealed yet.
The graphics are a delight to see and the gameplay demo presented with current generation graphics is a sight to behold, as monsters of colossal scale really look as big and as bad as you would imagine. The world map is 2-2.5x bigger and moving between areas will be seamless, nearly no loading time moving between map sections!
Fans of the series will definitely love this new installment in the series as Monster Hunter World releases in early 2018 for the PS4 and the PS4 Pro so stay tuned for more details as they come by!
