The new trailer just dropped for the PC version of Final Fantasy XV. You can watch the trailer above in all its 4K glory.
Ain’t Cindy purdy? And the best part is, come 2018, when the game finally launches for the PC, it comes supporting native 4K resolution (3840 x 2160), HDR 10 and can be clocked to support up to 8K resolution! Oh my word!
With NVIDIA’s partnership, FFXV will be treated to a host of cosmetic upgrades including but not limited to:
Lush greenery
Realistic life-like follicles swaying in the wind (oh, look at that Garulessa, so hot right now)
And for the first time-ever, a first-person camera perspective adding to the immersion further!
Here’s the monster of a catch, though, you may need a daemon rig to pull this off!
Here’s Square’s RECOMMENDED Specs if you want to run the game all nice and smooth now:
• Monitor: supports 4K & HDR
• GPU: Geforce 1080Ti
• CPU: Intel i7 3.4ghz or Ryzen 7 1700
• RAM: 16 GB
• 5.1 or 7.1 surround headphone
• HDD: 170GB
So that’s just the “recommended” settings. What more if I want to fully clock the game to SUPER ULTRA MAX LEVEL ALPHA? Do I need a 1080Ti SLI setup? Maybe 3 interconnected 4k monitors? A NASA-LEVEL SUPER COMPUTER TO RUN? WHAT? WHAAT????
I guess we’ll have to wait a bit more to see how Noctis’ smooth hair interacts with all the high-end hardware next year. For now, all we can do is wait patiently and hope that the minimal requirement to run this game with graphics and features better than those of a PS4 or PS4 Pro wouldn’t force us sell both our kidney’s (cause no one will take my fat as collateral T_T).
