Acer aggressively seeks out to embed itself outside the usual tech circles. We’ve seen them partner with timepiece makers, Casio G-Shock, apparel brands like Salvatore Mann and now continuing its effort of diversifying its market, Acer is partnering with the SM store for one helluva shopping spree.
In the recently launched Holiday Campaign dubbed #MalayangPasko, Acer and SM recognizing that their market have a diverse range of interest, these corporate giants decided that there is no greater gift than the gift of choice.
So, for the next couple of weeks when you shop at any Acer stores and decide to buy any qualifying Windows-based Acer Aspire laptops, desktops and All-In-Ones you’ll be getting some free The SM Store Exclusive Promotional Shopping Vouchers. Shopping vouchers come in Php 5000, Php 3000 and Php 1000 depending, of course, on the model that you buy. For every purchase of an Intel Core i7-powered laptop and desktop, you get the Php 5000; if you purchase an i5, you get the Php 3000 and if you purchase an i3 you get the 1000 GC.
Additionally, when you present your SM Advantage Card, SM Prestige or BDO Rewards Card upon redeeming the Exclusive Promotional Voucher, you can enjoy 10x more SMAC points! Free GC and more points for shopping? Yes, please!
Joining the campaign launch is Jennlyn Mercado and JM De Guzman. If this follows the Salvatore Man campaign with Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez, I’m pretty sure we’ll see an online video starring these two for the #MalayangPasko Promo.
There is one caveat to the special SM GC. Since this is an exclusive partnership of Acer with The SM Store, the vouchers can only be used in The SM Store itself – not SM-owned stores like Uniqlo, The Surplus Shop, and even Toy Kingdom. Still, the SM Department store themselves have a ton of other brands and items to offer. So, it’s all good.
The Acer x SM #MalayangPasko Holiday Promo runs from November 20 to December 31, 2017 while Gift Vouchers are valid till March 1, 2019. For more info the promo follow Acer Philippines’ FB Page. Here’s to more Holiday shopping, people! Cheers!
