Never say die and never say never!
They may be your friend, your mentor, or your partner-in-crime but, when it comes to raising your spirit, these are the guys you want in your squad! After all, these guys are a MOUTHFUL to talk to!
So given that it’s a Monday and we all need that little push to get on out there, here’s our list of 5 Anime Characters that will definitely lift your spirits and fire you up!
1. Kamina (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann)
“Go beyond the impossible and kick reason to the curb!”
The manliest of men! He may be loud, reckless, and not that great of a fighter or mecha pilot but his unwavering spirit is through the roof! And that’s saying a lot considering he lived most of his life hundreds of feet underground.
2. Mako Mankanshoku (Kill la kill)
“And everyone on the planet knows that if you win with friendship, you win at life!”
Cute, carefree, hyperactive, very clingy (being practically inseparable to Ryuko), lazy, and fearless is how you can describe Mako. As comical as all that sounds, when the spotlight is on her, however, she comes up with some of the funniest, creatively odd, and emotionally inspiring lines that the show has to offer!
3. Might Guy/Gai (Naruto/Naruto Shippuden)
“It’s not always possible to do what we want to do, but it’s important to believe in something before you actually do it.”
The man Madara dubbed as the strongest Taijutsu Master, Guy/Gai is a man full of drive and dedication. He is a practitioner of the “Self Rule” which he learned from his father and has thought to his pupils and members of Team Guy/Gai. He may look like a man of action more than words but, when he DOES speak, his words are definitely worth heeding.
4. Arataka Reigen (Mob Psycho 100)
“You must embrace that as part of yourself and continue to live positively. The truth behind one’s charm is kindness. Become a good person. That is all.”
This self-proclaimed “Greatest Psychic of the 21st Century” is actually just a con-man but that’s also what makes him such a great motivator. A smooth talker with soothing hands, he excels at convincing others that what he says goes. Awesomely enough, that also includes telling you that you’re a WAY better person than you think.
5. Korosensei (Assassination Classroom)
“The difference between the novice and the master is that the master has failed more times than the novice has tried.”
This yellow tentacled creature may threaten humanity with the planet’s destruction but, deep down, he’s just trying to make up for past sins and make a brighter future for his students. Being able to connect to each student individually thru the power of empathy, observation, and logic, he knows exactly what to say and do to his students to make them better especially when they’re down.
That’s the list! How about you guys? Who do you think should be part of this list? Drop us a comment here and share your favorite lines! Let’s encourage each other and battle through the Monday blues TOGETHER! GANBATTE!
Special mention to Eikichi Onizuka (GTO), Kumiko Yamaguchi (Gokusen), All Might (My Hero Academia), Asta (Black Clover), and Kineshi Hairo (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K).
