For work, I used to use a laptop at the office, connected to a main monitor. It’s great because the laptop affords portability, while the main monitor allows a two-screen set-up for maximizing my productivity (spoken like a true #hailcorporate). But sometimes, when I bring my work home, I cry on the inside and miss my monitor at work. Well what if I no longer have to make the compromise?
Asus makes that possible with its new ZenScreen MB16AC portable monitor. Its noteable features include 15.6-inch IPS screen, 780g weight, a slim 8mm profile, and support for both USB Type-A and Type-C. It also includes a nifty case to protect it from scratches and dust, as well as a stand to prop up the device in either landscape or portrait orientation. It also has Asus’s Blue Light Filter and Flicker-Free technology, to make viewing more pleasant.
It’s quite pricey though. Available at Php 15,620, it certainly is worth pondering, but you can’t put a price on luxury and portability. The portable monitor is available initially at Cebu and Davao retail stores, namely: Asia Pacific Computers, Davao Futurebright Enterprises, Gaisano Interpace Computer Systems, Nutech Marketing, SECC Computer Sales, and Thinking Tools Inc. Availability in Luzon will come sometime this month.
