We don’t know about you guys, but we like it BIG and FAST! What are we referring to? Gaming monitors of course! Good thing ASUS’ latest line of gaming displays fit the bill perfectly.
Yesterday, ASUS gave us a sneak peek at their latest and greatest gaming monitors, each of which have massive screens and extremely fast refresh rates and response times. Without further ado, let’s check the monitors out here:
Starting off the new ASUS display lineup are the VG258QR and VG278QR monitors. Both models come with a whopping 165Hz refresh rate and industry-leading 0.5ms response time. The only difference between the two being that the VG258QR is smaller at 24.5-inches, the VG278QR meanwhile has a 27-inch screen.
Up next is the VG279Q , an IPS display with a fast refresh rate of 144Hz. Thanks to its IPS panel, the VG279Q should have wider viewing angles without sacrificing refresh rate speed. This monitor (along with the QR monitors above) is equipped with FreeSync™ which eliminates screen tearing, even when using select NVIDA GPUs.
Moving on to the big monitors, we have the ROG Strix XG32VQR. This monitor improves upon its predecessor as it now incorporates DisplayHDR™ 400, a 144Hz refresh rate, 125% sRG, and FreeSync™ 2 HDR.
Finally, we have ASUS’ biggest monitor in the lineup — the ROG Strix XG49VQ. With an ultrawide resolution of 3840×1080, the XG49VQ is the ultimate monitor for an immersive gaming experience, as well as a great display for multitasking. Much like the XG32VQR, this display also features DisplayHDR™ 400 and FreeSync™ 2 HDR.
