With the recent release of ‘LEFT ALIVE’, the game’s director Toshifumi Nabeshima has offered up some helpful tips and tricks for surviving the war-torn streets of Novo Slava.
Check out the commentary video below;
In the video, Nabeshima describes the open-ended gameplay of ‘LEFT ALIVE’ and the team’s overall goal of providing players the liberty and freedom they crave to truly dig into the game. From trap crafting to scrap hunting, from major highways to alleyways, from full-on shootouts to clandestine search-and-rescue; ‘LEFT ALIVE’ is all about offering gamers a smorgasbord of ways to play and progress.
There are a myriad of influences on the game that shine through this breakdown by Nabeshima. Aesthetics of ‘Metal Gear Solid’, obviously gleaned from the involvement of Kojima Productions’ go-to artist Yoji Shinkawa, blend into the urban atmosphere that feels reminiscent of ‘Resident Evil 2’ or ‘The Last of Us’. Combined with a gameplay style that feels like ‘The Division’ by the Tom Clancy Ubisoft team, players can approach this fast-paced scrappy warfighter game however they see fit.
