Kicking off E3 2019 was EA Play where Respawn entertainment developers sat down with Greg Miller (co-founder of Kinda Funny) to showcase 15 minutes of gameplay footage of their upcoming game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
This story takes place after Episode 3 post Order 66 when the Jedi were being hunted down and terminated. Fans reacted positively during the presentation when they found out that this was now a single player adventure game, meaning that EA had probably learned their lesson from previous controversies regarding pay-to-play loot boxes from its multiplayer game, Battlefront II.
This footage takes place about 3 hours into the game where the main character Cal Kestis, one of the last remaining Jedi, has now surpassed Padawan status, but is still not quite a Jedi yet. This takes you on a mission into a forested Wookie world called Kashyyyk, where you as well as a little droid named BD-1 must infiltrate a compound where the Wookies have been enslaved by the Empire and must be freed.
Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order will be available for Playstation 4, X-box One, and Windows PC on November 15th, 2019.
