If you’re using a PC, chances are you’re familiar (or are currently using) a UPS. If not, well a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) is a device that provides backup battery power in case of a power outage. This is a useful device to have for PC users, especially for those who work at home, as you’ll be able to avoid losing files when a power outage occurs.
Personally, I don’t have a UPS as I use a laptop at home. UPS devices aren’t cheap, and having one just for my router is a bit overkill; though this does mean that I’m outta luck when a power outage hits and I need to submit important files for work.
