Realme has been in the Philippines for just less than a year, but in that time, its smartphones have been runaway hits. Though it’s not just here in the PH where the brand is successful; in fact, it made history as Realme became the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand, registering a global shipment of 4.7 million units in Q2 2019.
With this, realme joins big smartphone brands such as Samsung, Huawei, and Apple in the top 10 mobile brands of the world in Q2. Driving this growth are key markets such as China, India, Russia, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Overall, realme now has more than 10 million users globally.
Sky Li, the founder and CEO of realme, said: “Realme’s original intention was to create products that offer the young new and unique experiences. Our Dare to Leap concept is based on and supports this mission. We hope to reach young consumers with products that exceed their expectations on design, performance and quality.”
Realme isn’t stopping there though as it recently revealed the first-ever 64MP smartphone photo. The sensor used to take the image will be used in realme’s upcoming flagship phone that will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor.
While we still have to wait for realme’s flagship phone, you can check out Realme’s other smartphone offerings, including the budget-friendly C2 and the powerful 3 Pro:
