Remember the PS1 Classic ‘Monster Rancher‘ (or Monster Farm in Japan)? If you’re unfamiliar, the series has players breed, raise, and fight using monsters; think of it as Pokemon, but with more focus on breeding and raising your monsters.
Whether you’ve played the game countless times back in the 90s, or if these kinds of games are your thing, soon you’ll be able to play this game without breaking out your old PS1. Japanese publisher Koei Tecmo recently announced that Moster Farm is getting a re-release.

While Koei Tecmo has announced that the game will be released soon, the publisher has not revealed on their social media. Though it has been reported by Gematsu that the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
From the looks of it, Monster Rancher will be released only digitally, at least for now. There’s also no word yet on whether the game will have an international release as so far, only a Japan launch for the game has been confirmed.
