With its high quality basics and awesome graphic tees at pretty good prices, Uniqlo is easily one of my favorite clothing brands; in fact, most of my closet is made up of Uniqlo pieces. Yesterday at the Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall, Uniqlo unveiled its comprehensive Fall/Winter 2019 collection, meaning more versatile and long-lasting pieces are coming your way soon.
For us, the UT line is always the highlight of any new collection from the Japanese clothing giant. During the launch Uniqlo showcased their new lines such as the ukiyo-e, Hello Kitty, and the Mickey Mouse series. While there weren’t as much UTs at the event, Uniqlo promises that more UTs are coming to PH stores in the coming months. Plus, Uniqlo also showed a quick tease of the Weekly Shonen Magazine UT collection at the event’s screens.
While we’d love to wear UTs every day, there are times when we need to layer up, or maybe wear something a bit less casual. For those times, Uniqlo has lots of options to choose from, one of which is the Uniqlo U collection. If you’re unfamiliar, the Uniqlo U line is a collection of “reinvented basics” developed by a French design team headed by Christophe Lemaire. The FW19 Uniqlo U line features versatile, high quality, and stylish pieces that should be easy to work into your existing wardrobe.
Now if you’re heading somewhere cold in the Fall/Winter months (since it never really gets cold here in the PH), Uniqlo also introduced lots of new outerwear perfect for your Christmas vacation. One innovative piece that caught our eye is the hybrid down jacket. Basically, it’s a down jacket but with a cotton inner for added warmth — it’s basically two jackets in one!
The new FW19 collection will arrive in Uniqlo Philippines stores soon! For more info on the new collection, visit the offiical Uniqlo website.
