Realme is undoubtedly one of the best-selling phone brands in the Philippines right now, after all, the brand did record an impressive amount of sales on the realme 5 Pro. Realme’s success isn’t just here in the PH though, the brand has now claimed the 7th spot on the list of the top smartphone brands in the world in terms of shipment.
This new record of realme is thanks to a 808 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth according to international analytics firm Counterpoint’s Q3 2019 results. For the quarter, realme shipped over 10 million smartphone units worldwide.
Even with its impressive shipment record in the recent quarter, realme isn’t stopping there. The brand also affirmed its push for 5G by partnering with Qualcomm to be the terminal manufacturer of the new Snapdragon 7 Series 5G mobile platform. Realme is also continuing to make improvements on the design front, with the brand iconic global industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to create more distinctive phone designs in the upcoming Master Edition series.
