ASUS recently announced that it is releasing two new monitors in the Philippines, the TUF Gaming VG279QM and the VP249QGR. The new TUF Gaming monitor is currently the world’s fastest with a up to 280Hz refresh rate.
The TUF Gaming VG279QM’s blazing-fast 280Hz refresh rate is can be experienced at at FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and it also comes with a 1ms FastIPS panel for an equally speedy response time.
That’s not all there is to the TUF Gaming monitor though. ASUS’ new display also has a wide range of features such as ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC, a combo that ensures a crisp picture and smooth, judder-free animation and movement. For PC setups powerful enough to push 85 FPS and above on games, the ELMB Sync-equipped VQ279QM is a great match.
Aside from gaming, the VG279QM is also a good match for content creation as its panel has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and is DisplayHDR 400 certified.
Alongside the new TUF Gaming Monitor, ASUS also unveiled the VP249QGR, a gaming monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as ELMB Sync. Other features of this new ASUS display include Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync™) support, a 1 ms response time, and an IPS panel for wide viewing angles.
