In a recently concluded ‘Evangelion Mega Poll’ made my NHK, Asuka Langley Shikinami was voted the most popular character from the series.
The results were broadcasted in a program slot on NHK BS Premium last May 16. T.M. Revolution singer Takanori Nishikawa hosted the program

Well that puts everything to rest now, right? Especially on the long-debated history of whether you’re a Team Rei or Team Asuka. Personally for me, I’m just glad Misato Katsuragi is on the top 5!
The Final Evangelion Rebuild film, titled Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time (Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban :||) is one of the long list of movies struck by delays because of the ongoing pandemic, hopig we can get a definite date soon.
