Heads up, folks. According to a report by Bloomberg, Sony is planning to hold a PS5 conference as early as next week. Specifically, the conference will be an online event which may be held as early as June 3.
Aside from the report of a possible online conference next week, the report also mentioned that other PS5 events will likely follow in the next few weeks and months. While we should get ready for more PS5 news next week, we probably won’t get all the details regarding the console.
Supporting this report that Sony is gearing up for an event, the official website for the PS5 has recently been updated. The website now shows the following details regarding the highly-anticipated next-gen console:
Lightning speed
Harness the power of a custom CPU, GPU, and SSD with Integrated I/O that rewrite the rules of what a PlayStation console can do.
Stunning games
Marvel at incredible graphics and experience new PS5™ features.
Breathtaking Immersion
Discover a deeper gaming experience with support for haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and 3D Audio technology.
If the event does turn out to be true, here’s hoping we see a list of launch titles, as well as a look at the console itself and possible pricing information.
