After releasing the Nova 7i earlier this year, Huawei has just launched another mid-range smartphone in the Philippines, the Nova 7 SE 5G. This new Nova smartphone is similar in a lot of ways to the Nova 7i, but it has a key feature that makes it unique–5G connectivity.
Yes, the Nova 7 SE 5G is the first mid-range smartphone in the Philippines with 5G support! The Nova 7 SE 5G joins the likes of Huawei’s own Mate 30 Pro 5G and P40 series to support 5G. And while 5G is still yet to rollout nationwide, this new 5G mid-ranger from Huawei is a tempting choice for users who want a more future-proof device.
Powering the Nova 7 SE 5G is a Kirin 820 5G processor, complemented by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. With these specs, the Nova 7 SE 5G should also be a capable gaming device similar to the Nova 7i.
As for its cameras, this new Huawei phone has a 64MP F/1.8 + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensor quad rear camera setup, along with a 16MP F/2.0 front camera.
At the front of is the phone’s 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a holepunch notch. Other features of the phone include a 4000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and USB Type-C port, and many more.
For its price, the Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G has an SRP of PHP 19,990.
