Samsung is the SEA Invitational's official phone partner, while tourney games will go live on Sistic.

With 10 countries, over 400 teams and 3,000 athletes taking part in the inaugural Razer Southeast Asian-Invitational 2020, esports is certainly heating up in the region. Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, has teamed up with Samsung Electronics and SISTIC to elevate the tournament to even greater heights. As Southeast Asian nations gather for the largest Southeast Asian esports tournament of the year, the partnerships will aim to equip shout casters and streamers with the best-in-class technologies and broaden the reach of esports across the region.

Razer will continue to promote the inclusive nature of the esports community by extending unique capabilities and knowledge of the esports industry and community, providing support to brands who are keen on exploring opportunities in esports.

“The SEA-Invitational was designed to bring countries together and recognize esports as a legitimate sport. The esports community is exhilarated to have brands like Samsung and SISTIC reaching out to express support,” said David Tse, Global Esports Director at Razer. “Our unique standing at Razer, as a lifestyle brand for gamers and a global leader in esports, has provided us the positional advantage to extend our network to both organizations and the community. We will strive to fulfill this mandate.”

The largest Southeast Asian esports tournament of the year, SEA-Invitational 2020 will see national athletes compete in three major titles – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG Mobile), Defense of the Ancients 2 (Dota 2) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) in anticipation of esports’ inclusion in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam next year.
