Fresh after launching the nova 7 SE 5G back in June, Huawei has just announced that it is releasing another new phone in the Philippines, and it’s the Huawei nova 7 5G. As the name implies, the new nova 7 is another 5G-ready smartphone, strengthening Huawei’s commitment to 5G technology in the country.
While the nova 7 SE 5G is the Philippines’ first mid-range phone with 5G support, the nova 7 is a more premium offering from Huawei. This new phone packs a new, higher-end Kirin 985 processor that should be a bit of an upgrade in terms of performance compared to the SE model.
Aside from the new processor, the nova 7 also comes with an upgraded quad camera setup. While it shares the SE’s 64MP main and 8MP ultra-wide cameras, the nova 7 has an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
Huawei Philippines will announce pricing and availability of the nova 7 5G in the Philippines when the phone launches on Thursday, July 30 at 2:00pm.
