Some of the most talented sim racing drivers in the region are duking it out in the E1 Championship, the premier sim racing esports tournament in SEA. Right now, the Philippines’ Inigo Anton of GT Radial Eurasia Motorsport is in 6th place, but he is pushing hard for a top 3 finish. While it’s going to be a tough road ahead, Anton is only 6 points behind Malaysia’s Troy Eimann of Scuderia Stratos who is in 5th place.
“The E1 Championship has been a great opportunity for me as a sim-racer. I want to thank my team – GT Radial Eurasia Motorsport Team for believing in me, and also the Filipino fans who have been cheering me on. The next 3 races are going to be tough as I and the team continue to push for a top-3 finish. There’s a lot at stake and it will come down to the final round as I hope to finish strong and get the best out of the double points on offer,” Inigo Anton, GT Radial Eurasia Motorsport.
The final three races of the season will start at Silverstone UK tonight, January 7 at 10PM. The next two races will take place in Road America on the 14th and Bathurst Australia on 21st January 2021. The races will be broadcasted live on TV on eGG Network and on the E1 Championship Facebook page.
