JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean anime is official!

It's been nearly two years since Part 5, and finally we have our first glimpse at the JoJo's Bizzare Adventure Part 6: Star Ocean anime.

It has been nearly two years since the end of Golden Wind, and now, the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean anime is official!

The anime series’ announcement was made via the official JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Twitter. Aside from confirmation that Stone Ocean is now in the works, the announcement was also accompanied by a new promo video which give us our first look at Jolyne Cujoh–Stone Ocean’s ‘JoJo’–in the anime series.

In the next tweet, it was also revealed that Jolyne Cujoh will be voiced by Ai Fairouz, a Japanese voice actress who is well-known for voicing Hibiki Sakura in the anime series ‘How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?’.

Finally, the first key visual for Stone Ocean has also been released. Check it out here:

In case you’re unfamiliar, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean is the latest upcoming anime in the ever-popular JoJo series. Stone Ocean is based on the manga series of the same name, which is also the sixth part of the long-running JoJo manga series.

If you have yet to see any JoJo anime, each season features a different main character, though all of them are part of the Joestar lineage and  have the nickname JoJo. As for Star Ocean, main character Jolyne Cujoh is significant for being the first female JoJo.
