PlayStation and Nike are reportedly releasing PS5 inspired PG 5 sneakers

According to a recent report, PlayStation and Nike are teaming up once again for another sneaker collab, this time with PS5-inspired PG 5s.

Back in 2018, PlayStation teamed up with Nike for a classic PlayStation-inspired pair of Paul George 2.5 sneakers. Now, it seems that PlayStation and Nike are collaborating once again, this time on a pair of Nike PG 5s inspired by the PS5.

As spotted by CNET, the Nike x PS5 PG 5 sneakers will come in blue and white, and is said to have an SRP of USD 110. While not yet officially announced, the sneakers were revealed by laceuphk.

As you can see from these images, the PlayStation PG 5s come in a primarily white-and-blue color, complete with some black accents. The sneakers have a PlayStation logo and Paul George’s logo on either tongue, as well as the PS5 logo on the side. The back also features tab with “PG5” and “PS5” on the left and right, respectively. Finally, the sneakers also have a pattern based on the iconic PlayStation buttons, similar to the DualSense controller as well as the PS5 instelf.

According to laceuphk, an official reveal of these sneakers is coming this May. Currently though, there’s no word yet on when it will release. A release in the Philippines is also yet to be announced.
