Following its recent unofficial reveal, Nike and PlayStation have finally unveiled the PG 5 PlayStation colorway. This new colorway for LA Clippers star Paul George’s signature Nike sneaker is inspired specifically by the new PlayStation console, the PS5.
For this collaboration, Nike and PlayStation designers, including PS5 console designer–Yujin Morisawa–worked together to design this special PG 5 colorway.
The sneaker features a primarily white colorway with black “PlayStation” blue accents, mimicking the overall color of the PS5. The sneakers are also “heavily inspired by the industrial design of the PS5”, and they include the iconic PlayStation shapes in the same pattern as the one found in the DualSense controller. Finally, these special PG 5s have the PG and PlayStation logos on the tongues.
