Hold on to your wallets folks, the much-awaited PlayStation 5 Sneakers from Nike is dropping this May 14, Friday at 10am over at the Nike.com SNKRS site.
Teased earlier this month, it seems that Philippines will be one of the markets that the sneaker will be made available to. The sneaker follows the latest iteration of Nike Paul George, PG5, as the noted NBA Superstar has been known to have a penchant for the Sony console.
This isn’t the first collaboration between Nike and PlayStation nor is it the first that PlayStation utilized the PG silhouette. Back in 2018, the PlayStation x PG2 came out along with a string of various color and silhouette iterations with a classic PS wolf gray, white and a blue colorway for the PG 2.5.
Celebrating the launch of Sony PlayStation’s next-gen console, the PS5, the new collaboration takes the color of the eponymous console and places that on the shoe. Initially revealed to have 2 colorways, it seems that we’ll be getting the predominantly white one this time around (no word yet on the predominantly blue colorway though).
From official images as well, it seemed that the new PS5 x PG5 sneaker will not include LED Logos lighting up unlike that of its predecessor. That being said, this clean look will appeal to gamers or sneaker that may want to rock the gaming brand without going over the top.
The PS5 x PG5 will retail locally for Php 5,895. For more info, do check out their official site HERE.
The collab sneaker will also be available at Titan 22 via their On-Demand purchasing mechanic.
