During the day 1 stream of WitcherCon, Netflix just announced a definite release date for season 2 of The Witcher. After some delay, we are finally seeing Geralt and the gang back in the streaming service starting December 17, how’s that for an early Christmas present.
For those who missed it, here’s the stream of the Day 1 of WitcherCon (still ongoing live as of this writing).
Last season (spoilers), we saw Geralt and Ciri reunited after much build-up throughout the season. If the storyline is to be followed, we might see the pair travel to Kaer Morhen – an iconic place in the books and video games which served as the Witcher’s primary stronghold, specifically for the School of the Wolf. So we can expect some training to be had for the young Ciri, possibly dive into the way mutation works as well? We will find out in a few months.
Like before, expect all 10 episodes of The Witcher Season 2 to roll out on Netflix this December.
