Following the release of the first season last June, Record of Ragnarok season 2 has been confirmed, and it will release soon.
The confirmation of a second season for the anime was announced via the official Record of Ragnarok website and social media platforms. To mark the series’ renewal, a special artwork was released featuring the series’ main cast of characters. .
Currently though, there’s no word yet on a release date for Record of Ragnarok Season 2.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Record of Ragnarok is an ongoing manga series created by Ajichika, Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui which started serialization on Monthly Comic Zenon last November 25, 2017. The story follows 13 of humanity’s most notable fighters as they fight against 13 of the most powerful gods in order to prevent humanity’s extinction.
The anime series is described by Netflix as:
“Record of Ragnarok” is the story of 13 gods from across the globe and 13 of the world’s most notable humans fighting it out in one-on-one battles to decide the fate of humanity. Based on the manga created by Azychika, Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, an earnest battle of transcendental rage begins!”
