Following the eighth wave last August 20, the PS5 is getting its ninth wave of pre-orders in the Philippines tomorrow, September 17, at PlayStation Authorized retailers in the country. Similar to previous pre-order periods, only a limited number of PS5 consoles will be available, and this means pre-orders are open for five minutes only – specifically from 2:00pm to 2:05pm tomorrow.
Take note, each retailer will have their own set of requirements before you can pre-order. For example, some retailers require you to first subscribe to a newsletter before getting access to the pre-order link. Also, pre-orders will be limited to one console per person to avoid possible reselling.
Here’s a rundown of some authorized retailers where you can try to pre-order your own PS5:
The PS5 was first released in the Philippines back in December, and since its release, the console has only been officially available via these limited pre-order periods due to extremely limited supply. The PS5 supply is limited worldwide due to the ongoing chip shortage, which some now expect to last until late 2022, meaning PS5 supply will not meet demand anytime soon.
