Following the Uniqlo Daniel Arsham x Pokemon UT collection last year, the Japanese clothing giant has another Pokemon graphic tee collection coming this month, and this time, the brand teamed up with two new artists — Meguru Yamaguchi and Javes Jarvis.
Called the ‘Pokémon Meets Artist’ collection, this colalb is similar to last year’s Arsham line as it features artwork created by Yamaguchi and Jarvis of iconic Pokemon, including Pikachu, Snorlax, and Gengar. This collection includes graphic t-shirts and long-sleeve sweatshirts.
First up, here are the graphic tee designs for Men (priced at PHP 790 each):
Next, here are the four Mens long-sleeve sweatshirts designs (PHP 1,490 each):
For Kids, here are the graphic tee designs (PHP 590 each):
Rounding out the collection are the following Kids size long-sleeve sweatshirts (PHP 790 each):
While Pokemon is no doubt a popular series and is known by almost everyone, some fans may not be familiar with the artists that Uniqlo tapped for this collection. For those unfamiliar, Meguru Yamaguchi is a Japanese artist with a distinct, abstract style. Meanwhile, James Jarvis is a British artist that’s known for his cartoon/comic style work, as well as his designer vinyl toys.
This new UT ‘Pokemon Meets Artist’ collection will release in the Philippines on Uniqlo stores and the Uniqlo Online Store on October 25, 2021. For more info on the collection, visit the Uniqlo website.
