PlayStation recently announced that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection will release on PS5 on January 28, 2022. Currently though, there’s no word yet on a PC release date.
In case you missed its announcement, the Legacy of Thieves collection is a remastered package of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy.
Alongside the release date announcement, PlayStation also gave us more info about the game, including its three performance options:
- Fidelity Mode – Native 4K resolution with a 30fps target framerate.
- Performance Mode – Performance Mode targets a 60 FPS frame rate.
- Performance+ Mode – Targets 120fps at a 1080p resolution (requires a 120Hz display).
Along with these three graphics options, the Legacy of Thieves Collection for PS5 will also have near-instant loading times, along with 3D Audio with compatible headphones or on TV speakers. The game will also take advantage of the DualSense wireless controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Specifically, players will get immersive feedback during the driving sequences, rope swinging, and in combat.
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available for PS5 console with a price tag of USD 49.99. Meanwhile, physical copies of the game are now available for pre-order in several gaming retailer in the Philippines (including Datablitz), and it has an SRP of PHP 2,490.
Players who have a copy of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, or Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End & Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Digital Bundle on PS4 have the option to pay USD 10 to upgrade to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Digital Version. The upgrade will be available starting January 28, 2022.
Take note, you’ll need to insert the PS4 game disc (if you have a physical game copy) on your PS5 every time you want to download or play the PS5 digital versions.
