Along with the new gaming laptop lineup reveal at CES 2022, ASUS unveiled its new line of Zenbook laptops, and they sport brand-new designs along with enhanced specs.
Leading the new Zenbook laptop lineup is the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED — ASUS’ first foldable laptop. You can read more about it here.
Aside from the Fold OLED, there’s the Zenbook 14X OLED edition. This special edition Zenbook features a space station-inspired design, including space-themed design details on the lid and palm-rest area, as well as a special “Zero-G Titanium” color. Along with these design details, the laptop also packs a 3.5-inch OLED display mounted externally on the lid which can display customizable messages, themes and animations.
As for its internals, the Zenbook 14X Space Edition is powered by up to 12th Generation Intel Core i9 H-series processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics, and 32GB of RAM. For the display, the notebook features a 16:10, 2.8K OLED 90Hz PANTONE Validated touchscreen.
Next up, we have the Zenbook 14 OLED, Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED, and Zenbook 14X OLED. The Zenbook 14 OLED features a revamped design with a new logo that’s reminiscent of ASUS’ Edition 30 laptop from 2019 instead of the usual concentric circle finish. This makes the latest Zenbook 14 OLED the biggest evolution yet for the series design-wise.
The Zenbook 14 is a lightweight 14-inch laptop that will be available with either a 12th Generation Intel Core i7 P-series processor (UX3402) or AN AMD Ryzen 5000 series (UM3402). As its name implies, the laptop also features a 14-inch OLED display.
Next, the Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED refresh now features up to the latest 12th Generation Intel Core i9 H-series processor, along with the latest Thunderbolt 4 ports and upgraded WiFi 6E connectivity.
Finally, the Zenbook 14X OLED is now powered by up to a 12th Generation Intel Core i7 P-series (UX5400 only) or Intel Core i9 H-series (UX5401 only) processor. The laptop also features either an NVIDIA GeForce MX550 (UX5400 only) or Intel Iris Xe graphics (UX5401 only).
Pricing and availability of the new ASUS Zenbook lineup from CES 2022 will be announced soon.
