Elden Ring requiring a GTX 1060/RX 580 at the minimum might come as a bit of a surprise, especially considering that Sekiro has more modest minimum requirements (with the game only needing a GTX 760/Radeon HD 7950). Though Elden Ring requiring higher specs makes sense considering that the game is open world, meaning it will likely demand more out of a PC.
Elden Ring launches on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on February 25, 2022.
In related news, we recently got to interview Elden Ring Producer, Yasuhiro Kitao, and he shared that the game will have easier boss runs for a less stressful experience.
