Alongside the launch of the new MateBook 2022 series, Huawei has announced the launch of the MatePad 10.4 and Sound Joy speaker in the Philippines. These new portable devices will release in the Philippines on May 6, 2022.
The MatePad 10.4 is Huawei’s latest tablet, and it promises to be a great partner for productivity, as well as for entertainment. This new tablet packs a 10.4-inch 2K resolution FullView display that promises to be great for both work and watching movies/shows. Complementing the display are Harman Kardon speakers that should work well for conference calls, as well as for binge-watching.
This tablet runs on HarmonyOS 2, Huawei’s own operating system. The OS has productivity-focused features such as Multi-Window and App Multiplier for easy multitasking. The tablet also allows for seamless connectivity with Huawei smartphones as users can simply drag-and-drop files to copy them between the MatePad and a Huawei phone.
Finally, the tablet comes with a large 7,250mAh battery and it supports 22.5W Huawei Supercharge. With this fast charging feature, the tablet can reach full charge in just 2.5 hours.
Meanwhile, the Sound Joy is a portable speaker that made in collaboration with Devialet, a French audio brand known for its wireless speakers. The Sound Joy features a 2-way speaker system — one tweeter and one speaker unit. Thanks to this, Huawei promises that the Sound Joy will deliver high-quality sound.
This speaker also has IP67-rated dust- and water-resistance, making it a great device to have for get togethers as you won’t have to worry about water damage.
On top of these, the Sound Joy packs a large 8,800mAh battery which Huawei states can last for up to 26 hours on one full charge. To charge the speaker, the Sound Joy supports 40W fast charging, needing only 3 hours to fully charge.
Pricing and availability of the Huawei MatePad 10.4 and Sound Joy in the Philippines will be announced soon.
