Now you have no reason to miss one of 2022’s biggest anime shows as Chainsaw Man is finally available on Netflix!
Though as with many anime titles on the platform, Chainsaw Man is only available in select countries. Specifically, the anime can be watched by Netflix viewers in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand starting this February.
Previously, the show was only available on the platform in Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
The show’s availability on Netflix wasn’t promoted on many Netflix social media channels. Instead, it was only promoted in some regional Netflix accounts as well as on the app’s home page. This is likely because Chainsaw Man is not available in other areas such as the Americas and Europe.
In Japan, Chainsaw Man was available to stream in a wide range of platforms. But because of anime streaming rights being complicated, viewers outside Japan were limited in where they were able to watch it.
For most anime fans, Crunchryoll was the place to watch Chainsaw Man. Meanwhile, fans in the Philippines and in select Asian countries were able to watch Chainsaw Man on Prime Video.
With the release of Chainsaw Man on Netflix, more fans can now watch the show. And if you haven’t yet, you definitely should as it’s definitely one of our favorite anime shows of 2022 (and read the manga as well while you’re at it).
