With this year’s Mobile World Congress in full swing, we’re getting new releases left and right at Barcelona’s Fira Gran Vira. This grand venue sets the stage for an equally grand reveal–enter the OPPO Find N2 Flip, a brand new flagship smartphone that sports a few quirks alongside its powerful, flagship sensibilities
Coming in as one of the mystery innovations teased prior, this brand new phone looks to “flip” the script and edge out its contemporaries–and that includes those which sport the same form factor.
Being OPPO’s first vertically folding phone, it recently made waves in London upon its launch. From the looks of it, we’ll be seeing more of it in different countries. Fingers crossed, of course.
Sporting a 3.26 inch cover screen–the largest of any flip phone currently available, one can imagine the possibilities for both content creation and quality-of-life features. Equipped with a 50MP main camera powered by MariSilicon X NPU and Hasselblad imaging system, it delivers quite the professional camera experience.
However, the star of the show is the New Generation Flexion Hinge, giving the phone a multi-angle FlexForm mode which allows the screen to be set at any angle between 45-110 degrees. This also ensures that the crease of the Find N2 Flip remains unobtrusive and very much in fighting, folding form even with long-term use.
In spite of its compact size while folded, the Find N2 Flip also comes with a massive 4,300mAh battery and 44W SUPERVOOC fast charging. This essentially guarantees that while the phone itself may fold, your productivity on the daily most definitely won’t.
In a surprising highlight of the reveal, the OPPO Find N2 Flip and Find N2 have both been appointed as Official Smartphones of the UEFA Champions League. As such, UEFA Champions League Ambassadors and football stars, Michael Owen and Luis Garcia both joined OPPO on the first day of MWC, becoming the first global users to experience the incredible OPPO Find N2 Flip.
This pocketable flip flagship will be on sale in Europe starting today, February 28. As for the rest of the world, we’ve yet to find out. Best believe we’ll make the most of our stay at the MWC and keep you up to date on what’s happening.
