We’re hitting the ground running at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in chilly Barcelona as OnePlus gave everyone a taste of the goods they’ve been cooking up. The OnePlus 11 5G was quite the delightful Q1 surprise. Its powerful specs in a premium package saw a strong competitor in the ever-changing flagship phone department.
OnePlus, mainly associated with mobile tech enthusiasts and lifestyle aficionados just announced their presence in the gaming sphere with the OnePlus 11 Concept.
“Ten years ago, we entered the industry to create products that we ourselves actually wanted to use. Along the way, we grew together with our community and fans—striving to do better each day, aspiring to push the boundaries for each product. The overwhelming positive response from users is reflected in our 173% increment in sales volume of OnePlus 11 5G , and a testament that we have been on the right path for excellence in creating fast and smooth experience possible,” said Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus.
Equipped with new active cooling technology Active CryoFlux, and a sleek, imaginative design, we’re given a mobile juggernaut geared specifically towards the most hardcore of gamers. This feature aims to reduce the temperature up to 2.1 degrees Celsius, and improve frame rate by 3-4 fps during gameplay. In turn, it can potentially reduce 30s-45s from the phone’s total charging time.
The Active CryoFlux factors into the phone’s aesthetics with its glass unibody, deeply curved for thinner bezel with a side pull up height of 5.04mm. The clear rear cover gives us a view of the micro liquid flowing through the pipelines in a lovely blue hue that seeps and flows across the camera’s lenses.
One highlight of the presentation was a showcase of the phone’s latest in co-developing technology with Qualcomm and Perfect World Games–a feature introduced with The OnePlus 11 5G. This is taken up a notch as they’ve brought in the popular title Tower of Fantasy to maximize the potential of Concept’s built-in AR and ray tracing capability.
Afterwards, we got our hands on one of these powerful little beasts, and while it may seem unassuming at first glance, you can’t deny the allure of its aesthetics once the light power up.
As this is a test unit, we weren’t able to go in depth. By default, it comes equipped with all the great specs you’d find in the OnePlus 11 5G. That being said, having a chance to tinker with the gamer-geared settings and having free reign over all of its features in the future would be great, as there’s quite a bit of appeal to it.
As of now, there’s no news regarding any release info for the OnePlus 11 Concept, but best believe we’ll be keeping an eye on this black with blue beauty.
