As many fans await more info on the Death Stranding sequel, Kojima Productions announced a collaboration with Japanese clothing brand GU.
While Kojima Productions needs no introduction, GU might not be a brand that’s familiar to everyone. That’s because GU only has stores in Japan, Korea, China, and the US. Though it’s a brand that’s fully owned by Fast Retailing, the owner of Uniqlo, meaning GU is a Uniqlo sister company.
For this collab, GU has five pieces (four tops and one pair of pants) that are inspired by Hideo Kojima’s studio, as well as one piece that features the logo of DS2, the next Death Stranding game.
Here’s a rundown of all five items in the collection:
This isn’t the first time that GU has collaborated with KojiPro before. Plus, Kojima Productions itself is no stranger to fashion collabs as it has teamed up with the likes of ACRONYM. KojiPro even has its own store with lots of apparel and other merch available.

The GU x Kojima Productions collaboration will be released in Japan on March 24, 2023. This collab is also confirmed to release in GU stores in the US.
Though here’s hoping that a Kojima Production x Uniqlo collab will be released. After all, GU only has a presence in a limited number of countries while Uniqlo is available in a lot of countries globally.
