After many long years, Ouran High School Host Club will finally have its Nendoroid toy debut.
As teased during WonHobby 36 back in February, we saw the unpainted Suoh Tamaki Nendoroid figure, as well as the image placeholders for the Fujioka Haruhi and Ootori Kyoya Nendoroids figures.
With AnimeJapan 2023 last weekend, we got an update on those Nendoroid figures as Good Smile Company finally revealed their painted prototypes on all three toy figures.
As stated above, these are all just painted prototypes of Ouran High School Host Club Nendoroid, with the exact release date of these toy figures hasn’t been revealed yet. But following Good Smile’s pattern of reveal on these Nendoroid figures, we can only speculate that Tamaki will be the first one that will be released, with the expected follow up of Haruhi and eventually Kyoya. Of course, we should also expect that they will be joined by the other remaining members of the Host Club in the future.
Ouran High School Host Club is a shojo manga/anime series that was incredibly popular in the 2000s, and it is one of the defining examples of the reverse harem genre. The manga ran from 2002 to 2010 while the anime series aired in 2006 with 26 episodes.
