SNK ATK (Sneak Attack), the Pinoy techwear Design House, in coordination with Bratpack, is updating one of their best selling silhouettes from their recent Dark Days collection: the SHADOW Noragi for SneakerCon SEA. Specifically for the event, SNK ATK will be dropping their Desert Noragi in SEA camo that somehow reminds us of Hokusai’s famed Great Wave woodblock prints.
Happening this April 1-2, 2023 at the Singapore Expo, only 10 highly limited numbered jackets will be made available during the event. This is also the first time that Bratpack has brought a Philippine brand to Singapore.
“It has always been Bratpack’s mission to elevate home grown brands into the regional space, providing them a larger platform to showcase artistry, creativity and expression relevant to youth culture. SNK ATK has been in the forefront of this movement and we are proud to partner with them in this milestone,” said Jundel Llagas, Asst. Vice President for Business Development of PRIMER INTERNATIONAL of this landmark release.
The update SHADOW Noragi doesn’t just have wave-design patches scattered throughout the jacket. The silhouette has been slightly altered as well and cleaned up. Where nylon straps used to clasp and fasten the jacket together, Psalm Alfafara, SNK ATK Co-Founder & Creative Director, decided to instead utilize a smartly-placed button that somehow gives the jacket a more Zen-like feel.
This design has been in my notebook for close to 3 years,” says Alfafara. “It seemed like the best opportunity to release it in reference to Sneaker Con happening in Southeast Asia.”
The Desert Noragi SEA Version was recently revealed through a photoshoot with Filipino singer-songwriter Alisson Shore.
